Reinventing Space

Public Space

︎︎︎ Interventions

Exploring an unused, derelict space labelled as ‘waste’, we utilised pre-existing elements from the site in order to reinvent it.

Using tools found on site, we stripped back an isolated section of the building to it’s core and created an installation piece which transformed and interacted with the space. The materials used were all sourced from rubble which once upheld the decaying structure.

This project was realised in order to bring temporary value to a temporary space before it’s imminent demolision and transformation.

The process of this project is as important as the final outcome.

Once the buidling was destroyed, these materials were scattered to their initial state. The rubble at this site will inevitably be repurposed.

This project was made in collaboration with Jules Charvet.
